A wheelchair is not just a wheelchair!

A good 15 years ago, Max and Marcus watched their mother and big brother play tennis and both were immediately hooked on the sport! 🎾 🎾

But the question immediately arose, how is wheelchair tennis supposed to work at all? The field is large and you yourself are slow and not particularly agile. Marcus made the first attempts in a normal wheelchair . The touch was there and the love for the sport grew.

Max: “Tennis is not just a physical sport, you also need a strong mind and you need to know how to beat your opponent. Marcus is the ideal training partner for me because we always measure ourselves against each other. But we also support each other to keep getting better and fight for the same goals. It's been like this our whole life. By motivating each other in difficult situations, we were able to become as strong as we are today. It's a constant give and take, no matter the situation.”
